Bear Witness that we are Muslims! bowing, submitting, surrendering to ALLAH's Will

Bear witness that we are Muslims,
Calling to the Worship of ALLAH Alone, The Most High !

--- the Adhan or Call to Prayer:

Surah 87, Al-'Alaa or The Most High:

Surah 87, Al-'Alaa consists of 19 short ayaat or verses in all:

Glorify the Name of thy LORD, The Most High, Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; Who hath ordained laws and granted guidance; and Who bringeth out the [green and luscious] pasture, and then doth make it [but] swarthy stubble.

By degrees shall We teach thee to declare [the Message], so thou shalt not forget, except as ALLAH wills, for HE knows what is manifest and what is hidden.

And We will make it easy for thee [to follow] the simple [Path]. Therefore give admonition in case admonition profits [the hearer]. The admonition will be received by those who fear [ALLAH]. But it will be avoided by the most unfortunate ones, who will enter the Great Fire in which they will then neither die nor live.

But those will prosper who purify themselves and Glorify the Name of their LORD, and [lift their hearts] in prayer.

But you prefer the life of the world, although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Indeed, this is in the Books of the earliest [Revelation], the Books of Abraham and Moses.
[Al-A'laa,87:1-19]

"Bear witness that we are Muslims!"
------------------------------------------

Read Holy Qur'an translation Surah 3, Al-'Imran verses 64-91:
_______________________________________________

Say: O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you: that we shall worship none but ALLAH, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto HIM, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside ALLAH. And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims [bowing to ALLAH's Will]".

O People of the Book! Why do you dispute about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have you then no understanding?

Ah! You are those who fell to disputing (even) in matters of which you had some knowledge! But why dispute you in matters of which you have no knowledge? It is ALLAH Who knows and you who know not!
[ 3:64-66]

Abraham was neither Jewish nor Christian, but he was upright, a Muslim [submitting to ALLAH]. And he was not of the polytheists.

Indeed, the most worthy among the people of Abraham are those who followed him [in submission to ALLAH] and this Prophet [Muhammad] and those who believe [in his message]. And ALLAH is The Protector of the Believers.

A faction of the People of the Book wish that they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive it not.

O People of the Book, why do you disbelieve in the verses of ALLAH while you witness [to their truth]?

O People of the Book, why do you mix truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know it?
[3:67-71]

And a faction of the People of the Book say [to each other]: Avow belief in that which has been revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will return [abandon their religion], and do not trust except those who follow your religion.

Say to them [O Muhammad]: Surely, the true guidance is the Guidance of ALLAH --- that one may be given the like of that which has been given to you --- or they would contend with you by an argument before your LORD. Say to them: Surely, Grace is in the Hand of ALLAH. HE bestows it upon whomsoever HE pleases. And ALLAH is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing. HE selects for HIS Mercy whomsoever HE pleases; and ALLAH is The LORD of Unlimited Grace.

And among the People of the Book are some who if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will pay it back to you; .....
[3:72-75]

..... and among them are some who if entrusted with a dinar [a single silver coin] would not pay it back to you unless you kept on demanding it. This is because they say: There is no blame on us in the matter of the unlearned people and they tell a lie against ALLAH, and [well] they know it.

Nay, whoever fulfills his promise and fears ALLAH --- then surely ALLAH loves those who fear HIM. [As for] those who take a small price for the covenant of ALLAH and their own oaths--- surely they shall have no portion in the Hereafter, and ALLAH will not speak to them, nor will HE look upon them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will HE purify them, and for them is a Painful Punishment.
[3:75-77]

And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Book with their tongues so you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book. And they say "This is from ALLAH," while it is not from ALLAH, and they tell a lie against ALLAH while they know.

It is not [possible] for a man, that ALLAH should give him the Book, and Wisdom, and the Prophethood, then he should say to people: "Be my servants rather than ALLAH's," but rather [he would say]: "Be worshippers of The LORD because of what you have taught of the Book and because of what you have studied. And neither would he enjoin you that you should take the Angels and the Prophets for lords; .....
[3:78-80]

.....What! would he enjoin you to disbelief after you are Muslims?

And [recall, O People of the Book], when ALLAH made a covenant through the Prophets, [saying] "Whatever I give you of the Book and Wisdom and then comes to you a Messenger [Muhammad] confirming what is with you, you must believe in him and support him." [ALLAH] said: "Do you affirm and accept MY compact in this matter?" They said: "We do affirm." HE said: "Then bear witness, and I Am with you among the Witnesses."

Whoever then turns back after this, these are the transgressors. [3:80-82]

Is it then other than ALLAH's religion that they seek [to follow], and to HIM submits whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to HIM shall they be returned.

Say: "We believe in ALLAH and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, and what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the Prophets from their LORD. We make no distinction between any of them, and to HIM [ALLAH] do we submit.

And whoever desires a religion other than al-Islam [the Submission to ALLAH] it shall not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he shall be one of the losers.
[3:83-85]

How shall ALLAH guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and [after] they had borne witness that the Messenger was true and clear arguments had come to them? And ALLAH does not guide the unjust people.

[As for] these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of ALLAH and the Angels and of the people, all together. Abiding in it, their Punishment shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited, except for those who repent after that and amend, for surely, ALLAH is Forgiving, Merciful.

Surely, those who disbelieve, after their believing, then increase in disbelief, their repentance shall not be accepted, and they are the ones astray.
[3:86-90]

Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it. These it is who shall have a Painful Punishment, and they shall have no helpers. ..... [3:91 ...]

Surah 92, Al-Lail or The Night:

Surah 92, Al-Lail consists of 21 short ayaat or verses:

By the night as it conceals [the light]; by the Day as it appears in glory; by [the mystery of] the creation of male and female; verily the ends you strive for are diverse. So he who gives [in charity] and fears ((ALLAH)), and [in all sincerity] testifies to the best, We will indeed make smooth for him the Path to Bliss.

But he who is a greedy miser and thinks of himself self-sufficient, and gives the lie to the best, We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery; nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong [into the Pit].

Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, and verily unto Us [belong] the End and the Beginning. Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; none shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones who give the lie to the Truth and turn their backs.

But those most devoted to ALLAH shall be removed far from it, those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification, and have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, but only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their LORD Most High; and soon will they attain [complete] satisfaction.
[Al-Lail, 92:1-21]
